Welcome to Your Therapy, a safe, welcoming, counselling therapy practice that offers confidential, mental-health assessment and treatment in the Greater Toronto Area. Your Therapy specializes in compassionate, goal-oriented treatment for individuals, couple and families while holding itself to the highest possible standard of care.
Individual timelines vary. Some clients begin to notice small shifts within the first few sessions. If earlier therapy did not feel helpful, we will explore what approach was used, what did not fit, and adjust accordingly. The therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important factors in effective treatment. We recommend attending at least three sessions to assess fit before drawing conclusions.
Session fees range from $175 to $230 depending on the therapist and session type. Many insurance plans cover services provided by Registered Social Workers. Mental health therapy may also qualify as a medical expense for tax deduction purposes. Contact us directly to confirm rates, coverage, or available payment options.
Both are real when you feel heard, safe, and supported. Virtual sessions are secure, confidential, and the research indicates that virtual sessions are equally effective as in-person sessions. Many clients find that virtual sessions help to fit therapy into busy lives and work schedules. It is important to have privacy so that you are able to speak freely.
Therapy is relational. If you don’t feel seen or understood, we encourage open discussion. Our hope is that you will feel safe to talk this through, either with the therapist or another person in the clinic. We are here to help. Therapists do not take it personally if you tell them it’s not a good fit. We want you to find what you need and we will help you to find it. If needed, we’ll match you with another therapist who may be a better fit.
After completing a short intake, we aim to connect you with a therapist within 1-2 weeks. If our schedule is full, we’ll offer interim support so you don’t feel stuck.
